FASEB Provides Feedback to NIGMS on Research Resources

By | May 19, 2016

On May 10, the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) responded to a National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) request for information on research resource needs and strategies for their support.

In its letter to NIGMS, FASEB suggested three themes for the Institute to consider: 1) Enhance the discoverability of supported resources and promote diverse user bases; 2) Ensure resource sustainability, which would provide greater continuity of methodology and enhance research reproducibility; and 3) Take steps to advance professional recognition of investigators who create and provide access to resources.
