The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) announces the fifth annual BioArt competition, a celebration of the artistic side of science. Through the competition, FASEB aims to highlight the breadth of biomedical and life science studies, ranging from cancer drug delivery to crop nutrition. The BioArt collection also depicts the wide variety of cutting-edge technologies employed by investigators. Submissions to this year’s BioArt competition are due by August 30.
FASEB invites participants to submit captivating, high-resolution images and videos produced as part of cutting-edge life science research. New to this competition cycle is a special category that highlights exciting and emerging research areas. This year, the category will showcase research on the Zika virus or liquid biopsy.
The competition is open to members of FASEB constituent societies as well as to other biomedical and life scientists who can demonstrate funding from a US federal agency. For more information on how to submit entries, go to www.faseb.org/bioart.
