Horizons in Bioscience: Liquid Biopsies

The newest Horizons in Bioscience article, “Liquid Biopsies: A New Way to Diagnose, Understand & Track Cancer,” shows how testing the DNA shed by dying tumors in human fluids helps physicians track cancer progression and select the most appropriate treatments for specific cancer types. This technology – which complements existing approaches such as surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy – is advancing cancer management in a remarkable way.
